A Show of Hands: A-Okay

Does anyone use the ‘okay’ sign anymore?  It was popular in the 1950s and 60s, but I don’t think the current hip generation has any idea what it means.  Someone warned me that it might have a negative connotation in other countries.  Just in case, I’ll stick to a warm smile.  Surely that is universal.

As for as I know this is still used in scuba diving to signal all is well. Very nice drawing!

Agree with your observation. I haven’t used it in a long time. Although … I am not part of the hip generation … so maybe not a good measure 😉
